Wet materials usually have a certain viscosity, especially when the water content is high, the material can easily adhere to the inner wall or crushing plate of the crusher, causing the crusher to clog or get stuck. Therefore, the crushing of wet materials is relatively difficult. The crushing efficiency decreases, and the wet material is easy to form material clumps, which will affect the normal operation of the jaw crusher and reduce production efficiency.
How to prevent the jaw crusher from getting stuck
1.Ensure that the material is evenly fed. When using a jaw crusher, it should be ensured that the particle size of the material meets the feed restriction requirements of the crusher, so as to avoid oversized particles of material entering the crusher.Use a vibrating feeder or hoist to control the flow rate and particle size of the feed through the feeding equipment to make the material feed evenly and avoid material clogging.
2.Control the hardness of the material.Avoid sending hard materials, such as marble, basalt and other rocks with high hardness, directly into the crusher.Materials with excessive hardness may cause the crusher to be overloaded, resulting in stuck phenomenon.Graded crushing, for harder materials, a multi-stage crushing process is used to reduce the pressure on the jaw crusher through primary crushing, intermediate crushing and fine crushing.
3.Adjust the discharge port of the crusher. The size of the discharge port of the crusher is closely related to the phenomenon of stuck. If the discharge port is too small, the material may not be discharged in time, resulting in accumulation and stuck. The discharge port can be adjusted appropriately to ensure that the material can be discharged smoothly.
4. Clean up the blockage in time.Regularly clean up the material residues in the crusher cavity to avoid the accumulation of too many unbreakable materials in the crusher cavity, which may cause clogging or stuck during operation.
