The volume of the material layer shrinks and the particles are very close.With the rotation of the grinding roller, the material is forced to fall, the particle density increases, the stress intensity rises, and the particles gradually change from point contact to surface contact.

2. the crushing stage of the material bed

When the dense particles continue to move towards the small gap between the two rollers, the degree of compaction further increases. As the stress intensity increases sharply, the fine particles occupy the gap between the particles under the action of high pressure, causing the gap to tend to zero.Under the action of high stress, the material bed begins to transfer stress.

3. Cake forming and discharging stage

The crushed fine particles move to the voids everywhere under the action of high stress, and individual larger particles are tightly surrounded by fine particles; at the small gap between the two rollers, the compactness of the material bed reaches a high level.As a result, “agglomeration” occurs, forming a continuous “material cake” and discharging into the crushing chamber.The discharged cakes are broken into powder after being broken up, and can even be twisted and broken by hand.
