Crusher model for crushing 50 tons of silica per hour

PE400x600 jaw crusher

Jaw crusher is the first choice for primary crushing. Its sturdy movable jaw plate structure and wedge adjustment system can handle silica raw materials with a Mohs hardness of more than 7. Jaw crushers that meet the processing capacity of 50 tons/hour are usually equipped with a 400×600mm feed port, a motor power between 30-37kW, and a deep crushing chamber design that can effectively improve the material bite rate. The crushing ratio of this model can reach 4-6, and the original ore blocks below 300mm can be crushed to a medium particle size of 50-100mm.

cone crusher

Cone crushers show technical advantages in the medium and fine crushing stage. In view of the high abrasiveness of silica, the H-type hydraulic cone crusher is equipped with a manganese steel composite liner, which realizes mutual extrusion between materials through the principle of laminated crushing, reducing the wear of the liner while ensuring the uniformity of the discharge. The main shaft speed of the cone crusher matching the 50-ton capacity should be controlled at 280-320rpm, and the hydraulic system pressure should be maintained at 6-8MPa, which can ensure both the crushing force and overload protection.

impact crusher

Impact crushers have unique value in controlling the particle shape of finished products. The vertical shaft impact crusher, which adopts the "stone hitting stone" working principle, can crush silica into fine aggregates of 0-5mm by adjusting the rotor linear speed and the impact plate angle, and the finished cube accounts for more than 85%. This type of equipment needs to be equipped with a 132-160kW dual motor drive, and the impact speed is maintained in the range of 65-75m/s, ensuring the crushing efficiency while controlling the energy consumption level.

When selecting, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the crystal structure, silicon content and moisture content of the silica raw material. For high-purity quartzite, a two-stage crushing process is recommended, with a jaw crusher and a cone crusher in combination; while siliceous rock containing clay impurities requires a vibrating feeding and screening system. The basic design of the equipment should reserve 15% of capacity redundancy to adapt to changes in working conditions caused by raw material fluctuations.
