As the core crushing equipment in the fields of mining, building materials, etc., jaw crushers can be divided into the following main types according to their structural characteristics and working principles:

1. Classification by the motion trajectory of the movable jaw
Simple swing jaw crusher
The movable jaw swings in an arc around the suspension shaft, with a small crushing stroke but large thrust, suitable for coarse crushing of hard materials. Typical models such as the PE series have a simple structure but low efficiency.
Compound swing jaw crusher
The movable jaw moves in an elliptical motion, combining extrusion and grinding, and its production capacity is 30%-40% higher than that of the simple swing type. The PEX series is the representative, widely used in medium and fine crushing operations.
2. Classification by adjustment device
Gasket adjustment type
The discharge port is adjusted by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the rear thrust plate gasket, such as the PE-600×900 model, with an adjustment accuracy of ±10mm.
Hydraulic adjustment type
The hydraulic cylinder is used to achieve stepless adjustment. The JC series is equipped with an automatic overload protection system, which reduces maintenance costs by 40%.
3. Classification by frame structure
Integral cast frame
Strong rigidity but heavy weight, suitable for large production lines, such as the C6X series with a maximum processing capacity of 1600t/h.
Welded frame
The segmented welding structure reduces the weight of the equipment by 30%, which is convenient for underground installation. Mobile jaw crushers mostly adopt this design.
4. Special types
Double-chamber jaw crusher: such as the HD German version, which realizes continuous operation through alternating crushing and increases production capacity by 50%
Frictionless jaw crusher: The crank-connecting rod mechanism is used to replace the traditional toggle plate, and the life of wear parts is extended by 3 times.
