1. Selection of silo type
Raw material silo
It adopts square cone steel structure design and is located in the front section of jaw crusher. The capacity needs to meet the continuous operation requirement of crusher for 15-20 minutes. The trapezoidal opening design can effectively prevent material blockage, and a 500mm high car guard should be set up on the feeding side for protection. For large stone processing, high-level material platform feeding is preferred, and ground silo feeding is only suitable for raw materials with uniform particle size.
Transfer adjustment silo
It is located between coarse crushing and medium crushing equipment. Steel frame structure or concrete pouring is recommended. The capacity is designed according to 2-3 hours of aggregate reserve. Raw materials with variable composition such as river pebbles must be equipped with transfer silos to balance the equipment load. A stable silo needs to be set up before cone crushing to ensure full cavity feeding and form effective material layer protection.
Finished product silo
It is preferred to use rectangular concrete partition wall structure or steel plate cylindrical silo, and graded storage is achieved through belt conveyor. Steel plate silo can be integrated with automatic loading system, but the wear-resistant layer condition needs to be checked regularly.

High humidity materials

Environmental protection requirements
The closed air film silo can effectively control dust, and the air film material with a light transmittance of 30% can prevent the weathering of raw materials.
