1. Differences in structural characteristics and working principle
The counterattack crusher adopts a two-stage impact crushing mechanism of plate hammer and counterattack plate. The material obtains kinetic energy under the high-speed rotation of the rotor, and it hits the fixed counterattack plate to achieve crushing. The finished particles are cube-shaped and the content of needle flakes is low.；
The hammer crusher relies on the hammer head to directly strike the material and controls the particle size of the discharge through the grate. The structure is simple but the wearing parts wear quickly, and it is suitable for handling materials below medium hardness.

2. Comparison of applicable materials
Counter-breaking is more suitable for medium and fine crushing of high-hardness materials (such as basalt and granite), with a compressive strength of up to 350Mpa, and excellent grade of finished sand and gravel aggregates.；
Hammer breaking has a significant crushing effect on fragile materials such as limestone and coal gangue, but it is easy to clog the grate when the humidity of the material is too high, and it needs to be used with drying equipment.
