What equipment is needed for a 60 tph sand and gravel production line?

2025-12-22 Visits:

A 60-ton-per-hour (60 tph) sand and gravel production line is suitable for medium- and small-scale infrastructure projects or aggregate supply for commercial concrete mixing plants. Its core objective is to process natural rock or construction waste into coarse and fine aggregates that meet engineering standards. The entire system typically includes feeding, crushing, screening, conveying, and dust removal processes.

First, a vibrating feeder is the starting point of the production line, used to uniformly and continuously feed raw materials into the primary crushing equipment. The main crushing stage generally uses a jaw crusher as the primary crushing equipment, with a processing capacity of over 80 tph to handle peak loads. If the raw material particle size is large or the hardness is high, a heavy-duty plate feeder can be used in conjunction.

Secondly, the secondary and tertiary crushing stages often utilize cone crushers or impact crushers. For projects with high demand for manufactured sand, a vertical shaft impact crusher (sand making machine) is recommended, which can both shape the aggregate and produce high-quality fine aggregate.

The screening system is a critical control point, usually employing a three- or four-layer circular vibrating screen to classify the material into sizes such as 0–5mm, 5–10mm, 10–20mm, and 20–31.5mm, meeting the needs of different applications. Undersized or oversized particles can be returned to the crusher for a closed-loop cycle, improving the yield of finished products.

The entire line also requires multiple belt conveyors to achieve efficient connection between equipment; simultaneously, pulse bag dust collectors or spray dust suppression devices are installed at the crushing and screening points to control dust emissions and meet environmental requirements.
