PCD Series Hammer Crusher

PCD series hammer crusher can crush medium-hard materials with maximum feed size of 600-1900mm and compressive strength below 200Mpa into finished materials below 40-25mm in one time. This series of hammer crushers has the characteristics of simple structure, large crushing ratio, large production capacity, low energy consumption and small space occupation. It can combine two or three stages of crushing into one time, simplifying the crushing process and reducing equipment investment.

Single-stage hammer crusher is widely used in cement, ceramics, glass, artificial sand and gravel, coal, non-metallic mining and new green building materials industries. Large pieces of materials enter the crushing chamber and are piled on the special middle bracket inside the machine. The hammer runs in the gap of the middle bracket, breaking the large pieces of materials continuously and causing them to fall. The small pieces that fall are further broken by the high-speed hammer and finally discharged after being evenly integrated by the arc grate.

Working Principle

Ore has different inherent defects, such as bedding, inclusions, cracks, especially cracks that extend in all directions, ranging from very small to large and visible to the naked eye, which lead to different strengths of ore in all directions. Violent impact can make ore break along the weakest points and weak surfaces. However, as the crushing process proceeds, the particle size of the ore continues to decrease, the weak points and weak surfaces also continue to decrease, and the strength of the ore increases accordingly. The ore becomes more and more solid, and higher impact energy is required per unit volume to break it.

Hammer crusher and impact crusher are both impact crushers, which use high-speed rotating hammers or plate hammers to violently collide with ore, crushing the ore while also achieving a certain movement speed, and then colliding with the impact plate or liner, or the ores collide with each other. After multiple collisions, qualified products are discharged from the machine.
