Rainy weather in summer places higher demands on the operation and maintenance of cone crushers. High humidity, rain erosion, lightning and other factors may cause equipment corrosion, lubrication failure, electrical failure and other problems. To ensure stable operation of the equipment and extend its service life, it is necessary to strengthen maintenance and prevention from the following aspects:

1. Moisture-proof maintenance of the lubrication system
Lubricating oil management:
Use moisture-proof lubricating oil (such as N220 industrial gear oil), regularly test the water content of the oil (need ≤0.1%), and replace it immediately if the acid value is >0.5mgKOH/g or the viscosity changes >15%.
The main shaft bearing adopts thin oil circulation lubrication, the oil temperature is controlled at 39-54℃, and the cooler is started when the return oil temperature is >60℃; the lubricating oil pump pressure needs to be stable at 0.15-0.25MPa.
Lubrication of key components:
The eccentric sleeve copper sleeve is filled with molybdenum disulfide lithium grease every 500 hours, and the amount used is 1/3 of the copper sleeve volume; the gear transmission auxiliary oil level needs to be kept above the oil mark center line.
During the rainy season, manually rotate the flywheel 3-4 times a month or start the equipment to ensure that the bearings are fully lubricated.
2. Waterproof and lightning protection measures for electrical systems
Control cabinet protection:
Clean the dust inside the control cabinet every month, check the contact status of the PLC module, inverter and contactor; install waterproof sealing strips on the electrical cabinet to prevent rainwater from seeping in.
Before thunderstorms, check whether the lightning protection facilities are intact, and the precision components in the electrical control box must be firmly fixed to avoid loosening caused by lightning.
Emergency treatment:
Immediately cut off the power after the equipment is flooded, disassemble the water-related electrical components and rinse the dirt with clean water; the damp components must be dried and tested for insulation performance before restarting.
3. Rust prevention and inspection of mechanical parts
Surface protection:
Repair the paint that has fallen off the surface of the equipment to isolate oxygen and moisture; apply butter regularly to the exposed parts inside, and add anti-rust lubricating oil to the bearing joints.
Wear parts management:
Measure the wear of the liner weekly (replace when the moving cone liner is <120mm or the fixed cone liner is <150mm), and control the gap error of the discharge port within ±2mm.
