Analysis of bluestone characteristics and crushing process suitability
Bluestone is a typical calcareous sedimentary rock (CaCO₃ content ≥ 90%), with a Mohs hardness of 3-4, a compressive strength of 80-150MPa, a layered structure and a high density of 2.6-3.0g/cm³. It is easy to produce flaky products during the crushing process, which puts special requirements on the bite angle of the jaw crusher tooth plate, and silicon impurities (SiO₂≤15%) will accelerate equipment wear.

2. Key selection factors
Tooth type optimization: The wavy tooth plate design can increase the crushing ratio to 6:1 and reduce the flake rate
Speed control: It is recommended to reduce the standard 285r/min to 245r/min to reduce the pulverization rate
System configuration: Pulse dust removal (air volume ≥6000m³/h) and pre-screening device are required
3. Typical cases
A stone factory in Nan'an, Fujian Province uses a combination of PE-500×750+PEX-300×1300, which achieves a stable production capacity of 32t/h after 15mm pre-screening, and the flake rate is controlled within 15%. The CJ125 model is recommended for mobile operation scenarios, and its hydraulic adjustment device can quickly adapt to the characteristics of bluestone in different mining areas.
